While both coaching and therapy can be beneficial for youth, they address different needs. Therapy explores the "why" behind certain behaviors or patterns. Whereas life coaching focuses on the "how" of achieving goals. Coaches act as invested mentors, helping students clarify their aspirations, develop actionable plans, and stay accountable throughout the process. Imagine a coach as a supportive teammate, guiding you towards success, while a therapist acts as a guide to understand the roots of challenges.
Life coaching isn't just a trend, it's a powerful tool for personal growth. With that being said, we think everyone should hire a life coach! But we believe young adults need coaches the most. Whether you're a highly motivated student seeking a push towards your goals, or need support in specific areas or just a general confidence boost, our coaches are here to empower you as you transition into adulthood.
Both! If you live in Austin, TX we would love to see you in person. If not, we will meet through Google meet.
One's faith journey is something deeply personal, during our first onboarding call we ask our students to share the level of faith integration they're comfortable with. When appropriate, we frame coaching discussions around relevant Christian principles like perseverance, forgiveness,or stewardship. We also pray over and with our students and encourage them to read and study scripture either together in sessions or on their own.
